Topco Sales® Mixes and Mingles at the Adult Entertainment Expo

Beginning January 10th-13th 2007, all the major players in the adult entertainment industry will gather at the Sands Hotel Expo Center in Las Vegas, NV for the 2007 Adult Entertainment Expo, hosted by AVN. Film companies, magazines, manufacturers, distributors, and more will all be ving for the prime promotion opportunities and access to top level mingling events. A major hotspot of elbow rubbing will be the ANME Founder's Hospitality Suites at the Venetian Hotel.
During the past several weeks, Topco Sales headquarters in Chatsworth, CA, has seen a flurry of activity in preparation for the event. The Topco Sales Hospitality Suite will be the first chance for the company's customers to get a peak at its January 2007 product release as well as meet the newest members of its staff.
"We want distributors and associates to visit our suite for a chance to visit with us and to educate themselves about our upcoming items. We are very excited about this next release and we think they will be as well." said Topco Sales General Sales Manager Terry McGowan.
The hospitality suites event, hosted by top manufacturers Topco Sales, California Exotic Novelties, Doc Johnson, Nass Toys, and Pipedream Products, will be held on January 11th and 12th from 10:00am to 6:00pm, on the third floor of the Venetian, in rooms 3106, 3321, 3322, 3327, 3328. Guests will receive free beverages and snacks.
Good Vibrations Annual Holiday Ball

Good Vibrations celebrated the holidays in sweet style on December 14th at Club NV in San Francisco. Themed with sprinkles of candy and confection, the event was officially dubbed the 'Goodie Shoppe'. It featured a 'spin and win' wheel inside an old fashioned candy store, candy-clad party-goers, and an appearance from the Reno, Nevada based Chocolate Walrus who gladly handed out 'pieces of ass' in an array of chocolate flavors. Topco Sales was one of the sponsors of the event and provided Sex Tart Lube Samples to attendees.
The entertainment included stage performances by Candye Kane, King Jay Walker and the Cockavores, Burlesque by Miss Kitty Carolina, Las Chambelonas, Lick your Lips-Jack Davis Collection Fashion Show, Go-Go Boys N Girls. The highlight was an unforgettable Burlesque by Comedian/Actor and new Good Vibrations Board of Directors Member, Margaret Cho.
Over 300 attendees focused on Cho's burlesque performance as it climaxed with a full-frontal display. Cho stood bare before the cheering crowd, endowed with a masculine enhancement. "Check out Cho's moves!" exclaimed Elizabeth Plascencia, Topco Sales Coordinator. 'Margaret proved her versatility as a performer.and in other ways, too."
Topco Sales Manager of Retail Customer Relations, Burt Silverstein, commented, "Good Vibrations certainly knows how to throw a party, just like they know how to operate a great chain of stores. Their sales consultants are very well educated on product knowledge and customer service. When you walk into their store you feel comfortable and at-ease. They are organized, female and couple sensitive, plus they do a nice job at providing product samples and are always there to help customers learn about the products."
Coyote Days, Senior Buyer for Good Vibrations, commented, "Every year Good Vibrations throws a large holiday party in appreciation of all the people that participate in our accomplishments. We could not have achieved our goals over the last thirty years without the strong partnerships with professional, high quality vendors like Topco. The year end party is our way of celebrating our partnerships and showing our appreciation of your part in our overall success."
Topco Sales' Tracy Khauv Goes Home

Topco Sales is thrilled to announce that Tracy Khauv returned home from the hospital on Dec. 13, 2006. Tracy began her career at Topco Sales over ten years ago as an administrative assistant and quickly advanced to her present position as the International Sales Director. She suddenly fell ill on July 15 and was taken to the Henry Mayo Clinic where she lapsed into a coma. She was transferred to Kaiser Woodland Hills, and then again to Kaiser Anaheim. Though doctors were unable to diagnose the cause of Tracy's condition, they report that there was an excess of fluid which was causing pressure to build on her brain.
Topco Sales CEO, Scott Tucker says, "Tracy is a dedicated employee, a great person, but most of all, a true friend. Her illness came so suddenly, everyone at Topco Sales was shocked. Knowing how strong and tenacious Tracy is, we all made the assumption that she would be out of the hospital in a matter of days. Little did we know that she would be hospitalized, in intensive care no less, for such an extensive length of time. We have been praying for her everyday."
Tracy continues to recover at home with her parents on an outpatient basis, and she is now walking and talking. Tracy is working very hard every day with the hopes of returning to work as soon as possible. The constant support of her friends and loved ones has been a continuing source of motivation for Tracy during this challenging time.
A website has been constructed on behalf of Tracy so that family, friends and colleagues can obtain updates on Tracy's condition as well as post their words of encouragement. To visit Tracy's website, go to www.tracykhauv.com.
On the Road with Burt Silverstein

He doesn't hitchhike across the country with a pal named Dean Moriarty; however Burt Silverstein does spend much of his time on the road, as Topco Sales Manager of Customer Relations. Traveling from store to store, tradeshow to tradeshow, the Cleveland, Ohio native dons a Browns Sweatshirt and honestly admits, "Yeah, the Browns suck. I know they suck, but I like the shirt."
Though the silver-haired highway man is a relatively fresh face at Topco Sales, Silverstein is not new to the industry. With over twenty years of experience under his belt as a sales and purchasing agent, Silverstein most recently worked for a major novelty distributor. He understands the nuances of the industry and brings a keen understanding of emerging trends to Topco Sales.
While on the road Silverstein interacts with numerous retail store owners to enhance customer relations. He helps with staff training, merchandising, and answers questions about Topco Sales' products. Silverstein says, "Talking and connecting with people is what I do best, and I'm happy to do it for an industry leader like Topco Sales. I'm the guy on the road, interacting one-on-one with store owners and managers, finding ways to serve them better and giving them the individual attention they deserve." Always jovial and never at a loss for words, Silverstein is an integral component in Topco Sales' commitment to quality and excellence.
So when a silver-haired Browns fan wanders into your store and asks you if you'd like to hang some TLC®, grrl toyz™, Wildfire® or Topco Sales® signage, just say, "Hey, Burt, how's it going on the road?"
